At FX Productions we can transform your family's Archive of Photographic, Film, and Home Video media into a Video that is sure to become a family treasure!

We live in an age where your family history and legacy no longer needs to be handed down verbally, or in writing. These methods often loose accuracy, or are completely lost and forgotten after just one or two generations. They also don't engage an audience like a professionally edited video can.

Photographs, 8mm home movies, 35mm slides, even old video can be combined with music, graphics, and titles to create a video keepsake that your family will value and pass on for generations. Other mementos and documents, like programs, invitations, yearbooks etc. can all be added to your video to enhance and tell your story.

We can even videotape personal interviews with you and your elders to preserve your family heritage and history! Now instead of just looking at old Pictures of Grandpa and GrandMa... you can see and hear them speak, telling the story of their lives!

These Packages are basic guidelines and can be modified to suit your personal preferences or needs, please contact us for further information.

Note* - This will include up to 15 minutes maximum of combined Film, Video or other Media in the production. That may include home movies on Film such as 8mm, Super 8mm, and Super 8 with Sound. Video, including Mini DV, VHS, Beta, 8mm, and Hi8 tape. Documents such as birth certificates, Degree's or Diploma, and virtually anything that can be digitally scanned.

Note** - We will come to your Location within 30 Miles of our Studio, and Professionally Light, and Record an Interview with the subject/s of your choice for 1 HOUR. This will be edited in to the final production. Additional charges will apply for travel outside the 30 mile radius, and for additional hours of recording. Recording at our Studio is also an option.

Our Philosophy & Style

Our style of editing and goals are to provide you with a video that captures the most important and memorable events of your Loved ones Life. Yet, we want you and those you share this with to be entertained! We use upbeat paced editing style to accomplish this, and our completed Biography Video's typically run about 15 minutes and rarely exceed 45 minutes in length. Our clients have been delighted with this and we have received many positive comments over the years.

Your Production On DVD

All of our Biography packages include at least 1 DVD. Your DVD will have a custom Menu and chapters to allow instant Navigation to your favorite moments. Each DVD will come in a professionally designed case with customized graphics and Titles particular to your Production.

Basic Editing

Includes the capture and editing of your Media or Photographs into a sensible or chronological timeline. Subtle effects such as panning or zooming are sometimes added to enhance or bring to life normally motionless still Photography.

Advanced Editing - may include

Synchronization of multi-camera picture & sound

Complex transitions used creatively to complement the production

Special Digital video effects utilizing layers, composites, & filters

3D intricate titles, typically enhanced with motion

Precision sound editing, and may include Sound FX

Music selection from our vast library for appropriate scenes

Slow motion effects (Not overused & where appropriate)
