Transfer Services

Tape formats and 8mm film are rapidly becoming obsolete. Many of the devices to play these are becoming harder to find. Often neglected in Attics, Basements, and other less than ideal storage locations; these family treasures are deteriorating, if not disintegrating, and eventually will be lost!

The DVD revolutionized the way we Store, Play, and View our home Movies and Photographs. Menu's and Chapters allow us to instantly navigate to material. Where with tape we have to tirelessly Fast Forward and Rewind, or worse in the case of 8mm film, we have to set up the Projector and Screen, hope it still works, then spend 15 minutes loading and rewinding, just to watch 3 Minutes of film!

Our Transfer services are highly in demand as many clients are anxious to preserve these Family Treasures and transfer them to a medium that allows virtually instant viewing and enjoyment.

Duplication - is the process through which you "burn" the original content file from the master to a recordable CD or DVD. It is a faster method of production than replication, but is generally utilized for orders up to 1000 units, or when time is of the essence.

Replication - is a manufacturing process that creates CD's or DVD's through injection molding. From the original master, a "glass master" is created. This process becomes cost efficient in quantities of 1000 or more. Replication has a longer lead-time than duplication, requiring 7 to 10 days for production after the master has been received, and the proof for the screen imprint has been approved.
